About the MAC AIDS FUND
The MAC AIDS FUND was founded in 1994 with the mission to support people living with HIV and AIDS throughout the world, and commits 100 percent of the sale price of VIVA GLAM Lipstick and Lipglass to support HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and education. The company has partnered with several celebrities to support the cause including Eve, Lil Kim, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, and most recently Lady Gaga.
Project
The MAC AIDS FUND Second Life campaign was aimed at creating virtual events to raise money and increase awareness for the VIVA GLAM campaign. A collaboration between Estee Lauder, Clinique, MAC Cosmetics and BeautyBank, I spent most of 2007 and the early portion of 2008 working alongside employees to produce a series of events to be packaged and presented to the Leadership Team at Estee Lauder Companies Inc..
